F-117® Nighthawk®
The F-117 Nighthawk is a USAF twin engine attack aircraft, developed by Lockheed's secretive Skunk Works division and is the first operational aircraft to be designed with stealth technology. This particular F-117A Nighthawk #833, displayed at the Palm Springs Air Museum, flew combat missions in both the Persian Gulf War (1991) and the Kosovo War (1998-1999). In total the plane flew 5,140 hours of which 75 were in combat making it the second highest combat time F-117.
